Captain’s (B)Log: Friday 14th of June 2019

In a week when there's been National Gin Day, women are being brilliant at football and there's been loads of rain, the business continues and the studio is again occupied.
We've mainly had Nick from Kate's band here working on Kate's new recordings with Damien. It won't be out for a while but we will keep you up to date with what's happening but for now, you can enjoy what Damien has called "Nick's Christmas Jazz Face...A jazz chord to say I love you (as Stevie Wonder would say)"  Photo captions in the comments please!
There's also a Kate newsletter to do which is making us all look forward to summer and the festival season. It's quite exciting that Kate will be visiting Sark Folk Festival where they have no cars at all on the island but also Denmark and Canada. Exciting globe-trotting times.
We're also wondering just how many people we can fit into the Underneath the Stars tents and fields and venues as we are mostly sold out!
Look after your Dads this Sunday!
 More next week…

Earworm of the week: 'I Just Called to Say I Love You' Stevie Wonder.

This week’s teabag count: 58

Steve's Quote of the Week: 'smells like tobacco' in response to a suggestion of a new tea instead of Yorkshire Tea. Yorkshire Tea it is then...
