Captain’s (B)Log: Friday 16th of November 2018

This week has made us really proud of the people of Yorkshire - that's not to say that folk from other counties don't do as much but it was the White Rose Awards this week where some of us got to go along and Kate and Damien performed with - of course - Big Brave Bill on the set list!

What an amazing evening and some really inspiring people there including some local businesses doing really well. Our friends Cannon Hall Farm, Yummy Yorkshire and Grimm & Co all won awards presented by Harry Gration and Amy Garcia from BBC Look North off of the telly.

If you want to have a little look at the winners visit: https://wra.yorkshire.com/winners

Now that is over, it's last minute preparations for Damien's Folk Prostate Cancer Charity concerts next week  Sunday 25th  Afternoon  and Evening at Penistone Paramount. Might even see some of you there!

All these good folk doing good stuff makes us very happy!
