Captain’s (B)Log: Friday 21st of June 2019

Happy Summer Solstice Everyone!
It's a beautiful view from the hill today but sad to think that this is the start of the days getting shorter...we must get those sprouts on soon...
We have lovely news this week in that our MD Emma is a Grandma for the first time! (I should think so at her age)
the wonderful and beautiful Josephine Elizabeth arrived this week so there's lots of tears or happiness around and about. Everyone is doing really well ❤️
That also means that Steve and Ann are now GREAT GRAND PARENTS!!!!
Great Grandad Steve is keeping himself occupied this week mending mowers in preparation for mowing the Underneath the Stars Festival site! 🎪✨
'We're gonna need a bigger mower...'
Music-wise it's the calm before the storm before the brass boys all arrive for recording next week so it's prepping for them which means more bed making, moving mattresses and buying biscuits!
And no sooner is the wait for the vinyl is over, than we are now eagerly awaiting the Jenny teatowels - just in time for Ascot!
Oh...and Sally is snowed under making scarecrows!
 More next week…

Earworm of the week: Anything with 'baby' in the title (apart from 'Ice Ice Baby' by Vanilla Ice)

This week’s teabag count: 47

Steve's Quote of the Week:  “Didn’t hear the alarm reminder for my Audiology appointment”
