Captain’s (B)Log: Friday 21st of September 2018

Well, Joy is back from her holiday – so the teabag count has gone up again.

Also, there’s been a buzz about this week for Damien O’Kane’s music event day for Prostate Cancer on November 25th at Penistone Paramount, we’re very proud of him getting on a doing something for this good cause that has touched Pure Records personally. Good man Damien.

Kate is still rehearsing her new album before taking it into the studio in the next week or so, still not allowed to hear anything!

This week has also been about apples! We managed to get them off the tree before the winds hit. They are beautiful eaters, but so many and that's just one tree!?

We had a full house yesterday, talking all things festival so the teabag count is definitely up. Does peppermint tea count though...?

Record of the week:  Jack Rutter’s version of Salisbury Hill.

This week’s teabag count: 75

Steve’s Quote of the Week: "What we really need is a cider press..."

More next week…
